The Hotel stands in
Via Balbi, whose XVII century palaces have recently been added to the
UNESCO World Heritage List. A 20 minute walk will easily take you to the centre of Genoa, to De Ferrari Square. This will be a very interesting walk through history, while you enjoy looking at the beautiful architecture on both sides.
If you do not like walking, take bus N° 35 leaving from the bus stop in the centre of Piazza Acquaverde, the square opposite

The
Genoa Aquarium and the Old Port attractions are at about 500 metres from the Hotel and so they are at a walking distance. As to the times and admittance prices to the Genoa Aquarium, please visit its official website:

The Principe Railway Station is only 150 metres from the Hotel and all the trains from the North and the South stop there. Therefore, our location is ideal for the following reasons: to have excursions to both Rivieras: to the East and to the West; it is also ideal for any excursion by train (see Genoa arrival and departure times on www.trentalia.it); for those who want to use the Cruise terminal of Ponte dei Mille
(only 400 metres away); for people without a car, we would suggest a taxi;
The Ferryboat Terminal is 1.500 metres away; from this Terminal ships sail to Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Malta, Tunisia, Morocco, Spain; if do not have a car to reach the Terminal, we suggest to take bus N° 30 leaving from the centre of Piazza Acquaverde, that is opposite the Genoa Principe Railway Station, or also by taxi.
The Bus Terminal to the Airport is also located in Piazza Acquaverde, 150 metres from the Hotel; the Airport itself is only 6 km away and is served by the Volabus bus n° 100 leaving every hour; for updated departure and arrival times visit www.airport.genova.it .
For those coming by car the motorway exit is Genova –Ovest, which is 1.500 metres away from the Hotel.
